Xero pure water filtration system in front of a home being cleaned

Why purified water cleans better

Tap water is full of dissolved minerals. When a drop of tap water dries on glass, the water evaporates and the minerals stay behind as a spot.

Our Xero system filters those minerals out on site. What comes out of the brush is water with nothing left in it to leave a mark. Pure water also wants to bond with something, so it lifts dirt off the glass very effectively.

Because there is no soap, there is no sticky film left behind for dust and pollen to cling to. Many customers find their windows stay clean longer.

HOW IT WORKS

The pure water process

1. Filter

Water from your outdoor spigot runs through the Xero filtration system, which strips out dissolved minerals.

2. Scrub

A soft-bristle brush on a lightweight pole loosens dirt on the glass, frames and sills.

3. Rinse

Pure water sheets down the glass and carries the dirt away.

4. Air dry

The glass dries on its own, spot-free. No squeegee marks, no drips.

BENEFITS

Better for your home and yard

No chemicals

Nothing but water touches your exterior glass, plants and lawn.

Safer

Upper windows are cleaned from the ground instead of from a ladder.

Frames included

The brush cleans frames and sills along with the glass.

Gentle on your home

No ladders resting on siding, gutters or shingles.

Eco-friendly window cleaning

People often search for eco-friendly or chemical-free window cleaning. This is it: the only thing we put on your exterior glass is water, and it goes back into the ground just as clean.

Pure water cleaning is used on residential and commercial jobs alike.

Frequently asked questions

Will my windows really dry without spots?

Yes. Spots come from minerals in the water. With the minerals filtered out, there is nothing left to dry on the glass.

Why do the windows look wet when you leave?

Pure water is left to air dry. It can take a little while, depending on the weather, and the glass dries clear.

Do you use my water?

Yes. We connect to an outdoor spigot and filter the water on site. A typical home uses a modest amount.

Is pure water used inside the house?

No. Interior glass is cleaned by hand with traditional tools.

Does it work on very dirty windows?

Yes. Windows that have not been cleaned in years may need extra scrubbing on the first visit, and occasionally a second pass.

Is it safe for solar panels and painted trim?

Pure water is gentle on surfaces because it contains no detergents. Ask Andy about anything specific on your home.
